This is my second quad release. I got my first one in black, for my job, and because it is so comfortable to wear even with steel plates, I got a second one in desert tan for training and range time. Now I have a complete identical setup (including pants, jacket, beanie and sniper veil) for both my job and for training. I looked a very long time for a plate carrier with these features, and this is the only one on the market.And on top of it, it's the cheapest of the top five I was looking at!!! Great job guys.

This carrier works great for heavier plates. The generous shoulder padding and well designed cummerbund make wearing this carrier for extended periods of time a breeze. Also, I love the quick release attachments, they make getting in and out of this carrier so much much easier than other cummerbund type carriers. This carrier gets an A+ and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid plate carrier.

I like this plate carrier a lot it is more comfortable while standing for 89 hours a day. I sometimes forget about the wait and instead of carrying all my gear on my belt, I carry it on the vest I just don’t know what else to say besides great product is the best one I’ve had.

I love it! Very light compared to the IOTVs, the army issues us. I'm make all the other soldiers look twice and told them where I got it from and to go check it out.

I’m he only downside I encountered was that it left me wishing it had some sort of system incorporated with the cumbre un at the back. Something that keeps it in place and not sliding to one side or the other. I improvised the attachment of some gear to keep it in place. After wearing it for a while, I also kept thinking of the gap between the locking mechanism on the cumbre un and the front carrier. While I love the quick disconnect, It could use some tweaking as to jot leave that 1.5 inch on either side exposed. Overall, the system is comfortable and looks sharp. I would buy it again. I’m a retired Marine MSgt, This is lighter than what is issued.

My old carrier system made the steel plates I have (22 Lbs) seem heavier and very uncomfortable to wear. This quad release carrier makes them more comfortable when compared. I am going to upgrade to much lighter ceramic plates as soon as I can, in order to make the system even more comfortable.

I bought this to hold the 10×12 plates from Ace Link and once I figured out how the connectors worked I like the quick connect/disconnect works on the carrier I found it easy to use as well. If I had any suggestions it would be to include instructions on the buckles and care of the carrier.

This is a decent carrier, it’s comfortable, secure, well ventilated, and decently made. My only gripe is that the shoulder pads like to slide around to much and can leave you constantly adjusting

Bought large sized carrier, ran out of adjustment and still too small. (38 chest size) bungee coed attachment not very secure.

Shoulder straps have good padding, but can be an issue for your buttstock of your rifle to your shoulder when shooting. I wish there was more Velcro slack when placing your bullet proof plate in the carrier to make it feel it is secure and won't slip out. With most carriers depending on your use has it's pros and cons. I'm just the avid go to the range gun owner. I like to shoot, practice and be consistent with my aim, drawing my firearm, and do shooting/training exercises with full gear to minimal gear on. In my opinion these are some of the pros and cons I have with this carrier. PROS – It significantly has good padding – It's breathable – Like most carriers light weight – Easy to attach your pouches & other tactical accessories CONS – Bulky shoulder strap – Needs more Velcro slack for your bullet proof vest to be secure. – Easier access to insert side plates into cummerbund Overall it's an OK carrier for me. I'm pretty sure Ace Link Armor is always doing their best to improvise on their plate carriers that they put out there to please all consumers each and every time the design and build their carriers. Their Quadrelease feature can be a hit or miss for you. It's just tugging and pulling away from your body and you can quickly take your carrier off. This is good for when you need to perform CPR or attend a wound quickly which I hope this never happens to anyone. Just pull the release tabs and administer aid to the patient where as other carriers you may have to cut the carrier or mess with buckles or Velcro. I've had a few mishaps when buckling myself into my Quadrelease Tactical Plate Carrier. I want to say I can quickly buckle myself in compared to Velcro cummerbunds but my buddy still beats me with is Velcro cummerbund to my Quadrelease cummerbund. Literally it's only by milliseconds or a second. With that said I hope you find this review helpful.

There is good and bad. Great overall padding & construction, but there is a major design flaw. The inside cumber bun attaches to the side panels. This causes it to bunch up when you put it on, and the front plate is loose and not close to the body. You can't see it in the pictures. It takes some adjustments but, the design of that internal system is flawed. I would not recommend it. There is also only a 2-year warranty. I would spend a little more money and get a tactical tailor one, lifetime warranty and better belt system than this. Sorry for the bad review, I am a retired Marine and SWAT operator and I have used several types of systems. I hope I can get a refund?Your Armor plates are top notch though!

My biggest complaint is that the padding that sits on your shoulders doesn’t always lay right. It twists and has to be adjusted once you put the carrier on. I feel more attention should have been spent on sowing them so that they are less likely to move when putting the carrier on. See picture

Great carrier for the price, not a fan of the inner vest cummerbund or the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are comfy but just feel a little hard to manage, flimsy.

I ordered camo and I even called in to confirm I ordered camo! Yet I was sent coyote.

Pretty decent manufacturing quality unfortunately, I ordered what I thought would be the right size based on my measurements, but there is no way this thing will fit me. The plate bags aren't bad, but the cummerbund does not fit at all. But it fits my 10 year old son.
